Warehouse Fabrication in Vadodara, Gujarat
Long-span warehouse fabrication built around your racking plan — height, spans, dock levels and drainage engineered together.

What Warehouse Fabrication Means at Matrix PEB
A warehouse earns its return on cubic metres, not square metres. That makes eave height and clear span the two decisions worth getting right, and both have to be settled against the racking plan before the frame is designed — retrofitting a warehouse to a racking layout is expensive and never quite fits.
We fabricate distribution warehouses, storage godowns, cold-storage envelopes, bonded and agro warehouses, and covered loading areas. Spans are set so racking aisles run uninterrupted, and column positions are checked against the forklift turning circles you will actually use.
Roof drainage is the other detail that separates a good warehouse from a troublesome one. We size gutters and downtakes for the local rainfall intensity and lay the roof so water leaves quickly — ponding on a low-slope roof is the usual cause of leaks and long-term corrosion.
What’s Included
Racking-driven span planning
Clear spans and column grid worked back from your pallet racking layout and aisle widths, so storage density is not lost to a column in the wrong place.
High eave heights
Eave and clear heights set for the racking levels and reach of your material-handling equipment, with the crane or reach-truck envelope allowed for.
Dock & loading provisions
Dock-level floors, canopies, shutters and loading bays framed into the structure at the design stage.
Insulated & cold-storage envelopes
PUF panel and insulated roofing systems with continuous insulation lines and minimised thermal bridging for temperature-controlled storage.
Monsoon-grade drainage
Gutters, downtakes and roof slope sized for local rainfall intensity so water clears fast and ponding never starts.
Ventilation & fire provisions
Ridge and turbo ventilation for stored-goods conditions, with sprinkler and fire-system support steel coordinated into the framing.

Warehouse Fabrication — Frequently Asked Questions
What eave height should a warehouse have?
It follows the racking. As a rough guide, 8–10 m suits most modern pallet racking, 6–7 m is adequate for hand-stacked or lighter storage, and above 12 m becomes worthwhile only when the material handling equipment can genuinely reach it. Tell us the racking plan and we will confirm the number.
Can you build a cold storage warehouse?
Yes. Cold storage is an envelope problem as much as a structural one, so we design the framing and the insulated panel system together — continuous insulation, minimal thermal bridging, and doors and dock seals detailed properly. Half-measures here show up on the electricity bill every month.
How fast can a warehouse be built?
Fabrication of a mid-sized warehouse typically runs four to six weeks after drawing approval, with erection and sheeting taking a further four to eight weeks depending on area. Foundations run in parallel with fabrication, which is where a pre-engineered building gains most of its time advantage over conventional construction.
Do you build godowns for agricultural storage?
Yes — agro and produce godowns are a regular part of our work, particularly around Dabhoi, Jambusar and Padra. These typically need wide clear spans for heaped storage, high eaves, and good cross-ventilation to control moisture.
